Wordpress 2.7
Saturday, December 13th, 2008I decided to consolidate my two blogs (quilting and web design) into one and go for a new look. I originally intended to use this graphical theme on Hobby Stash but decided it was more suited for Dufresne Designs. The two sites illustrate how you can take the overalll structure of a Wordpress blog and totally change the look by the graphical overlays.
At the same time, I decided to take the leap and upgrade to Wordpress 2.7. What an awesome admin interface. It is somewhat confusing initially, as it is totally different from previous versions. But once you get the hang of it, there are some real time savers. My biggest issue has been trying to figure out the various plug-in configuration locations. Some of them are downright hard to locate.

As Ron's MS progressed, he stepped back from web design and maintenance and Linda took over the reins. She hasn't looked back since. Dufresne Designs was born as an outlet to showcase her quilting and website designs.
